Do you have some sweet coins on Trust Wallet that you want to change?

Or perhaps you got tired of waiting for the meme tokens to reach the moon.

Whatever your motives are, learning how to sell crypto on Trust Wallet is a must.

Unlike a classic hot wallet, Trust Wallet operates in a non-custodial environment.

As a consequence, transactions that imply fiat currencies directly within the wallet interface are not possible.

On the other hand, selling, storing, and buying crypto tokens on Trust Wallet is as easy as it gets. In today’s blog post, we’ll share valuable information about the following matters:

  • How to sell on Trust Wallet;
  • Best alternatives for selling a desired currency on Trust Wallet;
  • Everything you need to know about token swaps on Trust Wallet software.

Swapping Crypto Tokens on the Trust Wallet App

Selling cryptocurrencies is a fundamental process in the crypto world.

The crypto space implies high market volatility, which creates the need to perform deep research before making financial decisions.

Anyhow, purchasing crypto and storing it on a non-custodial wallet, such as Trust Wallet, is one of the best decisions when it comes to safety measures.

Trust Wallet allows users to store their assets safely.

What’s more, the deposit option allows you to receive tokens, such as Binance Coins, faster than ever.

Now, let’s say that you want to convert meme coins to a stable coin on your Trust Wallet mobile device app.

In order to do that, you must perform a process called “swapping,” which basically consists of selling your crypto for others.

How to Sell on Trust Wallet

Before deciding on the tokens you want to sell or need to swap, it’s imperative to take three crucial things into account:

  1. There are always transaction and network fees that you need to pay for. Trust Wallet, or the exchange you use, will show you each transaction fee before processing the operation;
  2. Different coins vary in the way they are swapped. For instance, if you want to trade BNB or sell BNB (Binance Coin), your best bet is going to Binance;
  3. Various cryptocurrency tokens known as “meme coins” operate mostly on decentralized exchange platforms, so the swap needs to take place there.

Pro Tip: Trust Wallet and MetaMask are both very similar. Both have similar network fees, operate in different countries, and store your assets safely.

1. Sell Crypto on Pancake Swap DApp

The first method to sell crypto on Trust Wallet consists of using the well-known decentralized exchange, PancakeSwap.

There are other exchanges that are also available, such as UniSwap, but PancakeSwap is the most popular of them all.

Note: iOS users need to manually enable the DApp Browser before being able to use this exchange.

Otherwise, getting a transaction submitted on PancakeSwapp will be impossible. Learn how to Enable DApp Browser on Trust Wallet here.

Step 1: Connect Trust Wallet to Pancake Swap

After the DApps browser is successfully enabled on your account, you need to Connect Trust Wallet to PancakeSwap.

Connecting your wallet is the only way for the platform to identify the address from which the tokens will be managed.

Just tap on “Connect,” and a pop-up screen will appear.

If you are having problems trying to understand these pop-up messages, check out our previously mentioned post, where we talk more about this matter.

Step 2: Select the Trading Pair and Swap Tokens

Go to the “Swap” section on PancakeSwap and select the trading pair you want to exchange.

A screen will show the current price of the operation.

Keep in mind that it’s utterly important to consider all the different transaction fees before placing the swap.

Once everything seems fine to you, tap on “Confirm Swap,” and there you go - you just sold a crypto for another.

Also, if the “ Insufficient Liquidity for This Trade” message appears, you might have to change the slippage tolerance before placing the operation.

2. Convert Crypto on Trust Wallet Decentralized Exchange

Trust Wallet also has a built-in swapping application that allows users to sell one crypto for another, but it’s not the best option due to obvious limitations.

Step 1: Tap On “Swap” On the Trust Wallet Application

Open Trust Wallet, and on the main home screen, tap on “Swap.”

There, you will see some trading pairs and options for selling your crypto.

Step 2: Select “Exchange” And Perform a Quick Trade

Then, select “Exchange.” The app will ask you to verify the operation before placing it. As you can see, there aren’t many options here.

In fact, you will find mostly coins that operate on the Binance Smart Chain.

Hence, selling ETH for BNB is not possible on this built-in menu. Learn more about BNB and Trust Wallet here.

3. Withdraw from Trust Wallet to Bank Account (Fiat Currency)

At last, the final way to sell your crypto consists of using a centralized exchange.

You can only withdraw fiat depending on the centralized exchanges you send your coins to.

So, let’s say that you have SafeMoon tokens on Trust Wallet that you want to exchange for dollars. This is what you must do:

  • Set up a Binance Account;
  • Swap SafeMoon for BNB tokens on PancakeSwap;
  • Send BNB to your Binance Exchange Address alphanumeric or QR code wallet (which can be found on the recipient address section - it works the same way in all major cryptocurrency exchanges);
  • Receive the tokens on Binance, set your bank account as your payment method, and cash out the money.

Are you having problems trying to cash out the crypto you sell to your bank account?

We have written a guide that shows you how to withdraw fiat money from Binance using Trust Wallet - check it out: Withdraw from Trust Wallet to Bank Account.
