What Does “Pin Conversations” Mean on Snapchat?
When you pin someone on Snapchat, you are giving absolute priority to that chat with friends and users.
The conversation will appear at the top of the chat list, meaning that you don’t need to scroll down to find contacts or friend’s snaps manually.
This can help you in different scenarios, such as the following:
- If you are a busy person, but don’t want to miss snaps from friends, just learn how to pin someone on Snapchat and you will be good to go;
- In case you are part of a friend’s Snapchat Group Chat, it is also possible to make personalized use of this Snap group by pinning it. This way, you will not miss the conversation thread that is happening at the moment;
- After pinning conversations on Snapchat, lower priority convos will appear below pinned conversations. In general, it is a feature that grants you full control of the snaps and messages you send to a friend or multiple friends.
Can Android Users Use the “Pin Conversation” Feature?
If you own an Android smartphone, we’ve got some bad news for you: Snapchat Android users cannot use the “Pin Conversations” feature.
Sadly, Snapchat Android has not integrated this feature for Android phones yet.
It has been almost two years since iOS users can pin new chats using the app, but if you are an Android user, you will have to wait for a while more.
Android phones can still Unsend Snaps, edit videos, send any kind of message, and use filters, though.
Nevertheless, it is uncertain if the “Pin Talk” button will come to Android someday.
