Here is step-by-step for each method:
1) How to link Instagram to Facebook
There are two ways to connect Facebook to Instagram account.
For your convenience, I will describe both:
- from the Instagram mobile app
- from the Instagram web
There are no added benefits over one another so the one you choose is just a matter of preference and whether you want to do it from your mobile phone or web browser.
To me personally, is more efficient to link an Instagram account with Facebook via web browser as I have easy access to a Business profile that might be handy.
From Instagram mobile app
This instruction will work for apps on both iPhone and on Android.
Step 1: On your phone, log in to the Instagram account you want to connect Facebook with.
Step 2: Go to your profile by clicking your avatar in the right bottom corner of the app.
Step 3: Next, open the Menu panel by clicking “3 lines icon” in the right upper corner of the app.
Step 4: In the menu, tap Settings (gear icon) visible at the very top of the panel.
Step 5: Tap Accounts Center (you might need to scroll down to see the Accounts Center section)
Step 6: Inside Accounts Center, tap Accounts & Profiles
Step 7: Tap Add Accounts
From web browser
Step 1: Log in to your Instagram account in your web browser.
Step 2: Click the profile icon in the upper right corner and select Settings from the menu.
Step 3: In the menu on the left, click Accounts Center (should be at the very bottom).
Your Instagram account is now connected to Facebook!
2) How to link Facebook to Instagram
In this method, you are logged to your Facebook Page and now you want to link your Instagram to it.
Before we begin, please make sure that:
- you are the admin of the Facebook page
- if you want to connect your personal Instagram account to Facebook Page, you need to first convert your Instagram to a professional account in order to link it to the Facebook page
- you have your email address verified
Ready? Here are the steps:

Step 2: In the menu panel available on the left side of the screen, click Settings tab
